Something was in the air yesterday. Curious things all around. First, my espresso arrived with sugar named daddy.
So I can say with all honestly that I got me a sugar daddy!
Then after the first piano lesson and first sea swim of the summer (and ensuing sun stroke!) my love and I spent the evening at the festive birthday party of our lovely German friend who I like to call Babs.
Along with champagne, she served a wine called Demoiselles Coiffées. Which means the ladies with hats.
I thought would it not be funny/horrible if the wine was actually made of ladies with hats? They could grab them at London tea parties.
Of course, the ladies with less alluring chapeau styles would not make it in the bottle.
Quality control and all.
The food was also interesting. Avocado, sesame seed and cucumber salad. A savoury salad made only with red fruit. And a heart attack on a baguette with cottage and goat cheese with a drizzle of honey, baked for 15 minutes. Yum!
As we were leaving, I spot these cool set of eyes. Alien or the wolf in Red Riding Hood?
My, what big eyes you have on Jupiter!
And finally on the metro back home, I laughed out loud when I saw what was written on the shirt of the guy across from us.
Sometimes, it is true.
Because curiously, mutual dislike of stuff can be the basis of truly loving relationships.
